Caterina Baker

Apprentice

Caterina grew up outside of Rochester, NY, dancing at the Draper Center for Dance Education and performing student roles in Rochester City Ballet’s productions. In 2019, she attended Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School’s summer intensive and was offered a position in their year-round program, from which she graduated in 2021. During her college career at The Hartt School, she trained in many dance styles, created her own original works, and worked as a receptionist for the Hartt Community Dance Division. She also studied with acclaimed dance doctors on her track to get her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in the future. Caterina received her Pilates certification from Polestar Pilates, became a Pilates instructor at Pilates Defined in West Hartford, graduated summa cum laude with a BFA in Dance Performance from The University of Hartford, and joined Ekklesia Contemporary Ballet as an apprentice in 2025.
