MORE ABOUT US:

Welcome to Ekklesia School of Ballet, a place where the joy of dance and community are celebrated. We seek to foster a Christ centered environment in which students are lovingly challenged in their pursuit of artistic excellence and are nurtured along their path to maturity. Our highly qualified faculty and staff share in this vision, training not only the body but the spirit as well.

Ekklesia School of Ballet offers a challenging curriculum, taught by faculty members drawn from the ranks of Ekklesia Contemporary Ballet. The School benefits from its close relationship with the Company. In fact, the Company's first season began with the graduates of the school. We emphasize strong classical technique and a flow of movement that is versatile and strong.  Our students have gone on to study at American Ballet Theatre, Alvin Ailey, and other professional companies.

The School has a dual mission: to train classical ballet dancers capable of joining the ranks of Ekklesia Contemporary Ballet and other professional companies, and to offer young children and adults an introduction to classical ballet and the joy of communicating through movement.
