Ekklesia Contemporary Ballet Professional & Collegiate Summer Ballet Program provides an opportunity to train alongside our professional company. You will experience the opportunity to learn the company repertoire in addition to a new work from our Artistic Director, Elisa Schroth. This program is focused on advancing your strength, technique and artistry with theological discussions around the art we are making and how it connects to the mission and vision of Ekklesia Contemporary Ballet.

Spiritual Life
At Ekklesia Contemporary Ballet, We want to welcome you, wherever you may be in your spiritual journey. The intensive each day begins with what we call a moving dialogue, a faith space for discussion and movement exploration which integrates the mind, heart and spirit as we listen to the wisdom of our body in community.
Fees
Early Registration Fee (Before April 1): $50
Late Registration Fee (April 1 and after): $75
First Tuition Payment due at registration: $250
Second Tuition Payment due by May 5, 2024: $250
Total: $550 (early registration) or $575 (late registration)

-Non-refundable first payment of $250 paid online at time of registration. This fee can also be mailed as a check.
- Second payment of $250 due in full by May 5, 2024.
- These payments are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

Check: All checks should be made out to Ekklesia Contemporary Ballet. There will be a $25 charge for all returned checks.

Outdoor Performance
At the end of the intensive, dancers will perform as part of Middletown's August Arts Fest. Arts Fest is a monthly arts festival that brings together local artists from around Connecticut for a night of performances, workshops, food, and fun! Ekklesia's performance will be held outside on ESB’s very own outdoor, open-air stage. This performance is a time where all dancers participate in presenting Ekklesia Contemporary Ballet repertory and choreography learned during the Intensive. Family and friends are invited to join us! The outdoor performance is free of charge.

Dress Code
Ballet Class attire for Females: Leotard color of choice. All ballet classes require pink full-length tights and pink ballet or pointe shoes. Please bring a solid black leotard for the Arts fest performance on Friday evening.
Ballet Class attire for Males: White t-shirts, black leggings or black bike shorts, and black or white ballet shoes with matching socks.
Contemporary and Modern class attire for both Male and Females: black shorts with no tights. Contemporary requires tan canvas ballet slippers and Modern is with bare feet.
