Adult Ballet Classes 

At Ekklesia School of Ballet, we believe ballet is for everyone, including adults with little or no dance experience. Our adult ballet classes offer a great workout, are grounded in classical technique, and are led by Company and School faculty members. We offer both Intermediate/Advanced Adult Ballet and Beginner Adult/Teen Ballet.

Intermediate/Advanced Ballet class meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00 pm, and is a great class for those with past our present dance experience.  

Beginner Adult/Teen Ballet meets on Thursdays from 5:00-6:30 pm. This class is great for those with little or no dance experience.
 

Adult Contemporary/Modern classes 

Adult Contemporary/Modern is great for both new and experienced dancers! This class will offer current dancers an opportunity to expand their movement vocabulary and supplement their ballet technique. This class will offer new dancers a great way to get introduced to expressing themselves through movement. Contemporary dance is a great way to think outside the box of classical ballet, and to cultivate your own unique creative voice. 

Contemporary/Modern meets own Thursdays from 6:45-8:00 pm.  

Who is this for?

Any adults and teens over the age of 18 who want to dance! No experience necessary! 

Cost

First class is FREE! Just download and fill out This Form and bring it in when you have your first class.  Contact the office (admin@ekklesiaballet.org) for information on payments and registration. You can also jumpstart this process by creating an account here. See below for tuition information. 

Adult Students (students 18+ taking Adult Ballet and/or Adult Contemporary class)

Register for the year (32 weeks): one payment of $592 for one class a week, or two payments of $592 for two classes a week (one payment upon registration and one payment on Jan 5) 
Register for the semester (16 weeks): one payment of $296 for one class a week, or two payments of $296 for two classes a week (one upon registration and one on Oct 5) 
5 Class Card (good for 5 classes, class cards are only valid for the season that they are purchased in): $100 
Single Class Drop In Rate - $22.00

What to Wear

Wear clothes that you are comfortable moving in. We recommend a t-shirt, leggings, shorts, or any kind of active wear. Ballet shoes for ballet class, socks or bare feet for contemporary/modern, and sneakers for hip hop. Pointe work can be included in the ballet classes by request.
