Student Division
ESB’s Student Division offers a program designed to take students from their first introduction to the art through a full course of ballet study. The Student Division follows a structured sequence of training stages designed to increase the student’s technical skills, stamina, and discipline.

CLASS OFFERINGS
Ballet 1 (age 7+): 2 classes/wk - 2 Ballet
Ballet 2 (age 8+): 2 classes/wk - 2 Ballet
Ballet 3 (min. age 9): 4 classes/wk - 3 Ballet, Jazz and/or Modern
Ballet 4 (min. age 10): 5 classes/wk - 3 Ballet, 1 Pre-Pointe, Modern and/or Jazz
Ballet 5 (min. age 11): 5 classes/wk - 3 Ballet, 1 Pre-Pointe, Modern and/or Jazz
Ballet 6 (min. Age 12): 9 classes/wk - 4 Ballet, Pointe, Variations, Modern, Jazz, Conditioning
Ballet 7-9 (min. Age 12): 10 classes/wk - 4 Ballet, Pointe, Variations, Modern, Contemporary, Conditioning, Contemporary Pointe
CHRISTMAS PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS (Ahavah) AND SPRING STORY BALLET REQUIREMENTS
Ballet 1: 2 class/wk - 2 Ballet
Ballet 2: 2 classes/wk - 2 Ballet
Ballet 3: 4 classes/wk - 3 Ballet, Modern or Jazz
Ballet 4: 5 classes/wk - 3 Ballet, 1 Pre-Pointe, Modern or Jazz
Ballet 5: 5 classes/wk - 3 Ballet, 1 Pre-Pointe, Modern and/or Jazz
Ballet 6: 9 classes/wk - 4 Ballet, 1 Pointe, Variations, Modern, Conditioning, Jazz
Ballet 7-9: 10 classes/wk - 4 Ballet, 1 pointe, Variations, Modern, Contemporary, Conditioning, Contemporary Pointe
Students in Ballet 7 and up who cannot take the 10 classes required for Ahavah can still audition for corps roles in Ahavah (Heavenly Host Angels and Dark Angels) if they meet the following requirements:
6 classes/week - 3 Ballet, 1 pointe, Conditioning, and Contemporary and/or Modern
CLASSICAL PRAISE (spring performance) REQUIREMENTS: 1 class per week
